We've come to the end, tonight's show is the last on this stretch and for good reason. Charlottesville is our home away from home (The Festy) and finishing out this run in C'Ville feels right. Super Secret Special Guest expected.
Last night in Baltimore was one of the best show's we've played. The jams had dimensions that hadn't been previously explored. Dr. Snacklish really came through on the mixing console. Drew's as much a part of this band as anyone.
Sunday we'll be out at The Festy grounds, creating the physical space that'll be the foundation of an amazing experience. 10/10/10, Columbus Day weekend, Roseland, VA. We'll announce the lineup soon, sign up at www.thefesty.com for updates when they're available.

Pow!
Tonight we take over the 8x10 in Baltimore. Last night we owned Mexicali Live (co-owners with Danny Barnes). Great to see so many people coming out and joining in the experience with us. Lots of good things to come. Check out Paste.com for a review of Things That Fly. Relix.com will be featuring a live acoustic set, recorded yesterday in their offices in Manhattan. More shows added everyday from coast to coast. The Festy 10/10/10, two nights of the Stringdusters outside Charlottesville, VA. Sign up for updates at TheFesty.com.
Here's a photo of Danny Barnes at Mexicali Live last night. He opens tonight's show as well. Check out his new record, Pizza Box.

SuperAmerica!
I saw a commercial last night in which a family of five made an entire meal out of roller dogs, warm pizza, softdrinks and Snickers bars at a SuperAmerica gas station. My mind was blown completely out of my head.i couldn't believe it was real. Imagine my joy, then, when we stopped for gas across the street from a genuine SuperAmerica! "Holy S**t, It IS real," I said to myself. America, F**k yeah!

My only regret? That I didn't sample a SuperAmerica Super Meal myself.
Tonight' show is streaming live at 10pm CST. Milwaukee's Miramar Theater with Hoots and Hellmouth. Check it out: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/liberty-bluegrass-band-live-broadcast

Things are Flying
Got the van fixed and hung out in Madison yesterday. State Street Brats not only has great brats, but helpful, attractive staff that are trained Physical Therapists. This was a pleasant surprise.
At the Cedar Center in Minneapolis, home of the worlds greatest greenroom. Great lighting, Indian food and a massive LP collection. Headed for Milwaukee tomorrow.

We've recently joined with the Artist Farm, many other bands and countless music fans in making the Clean Concert Pledge. Don't worry, we aren't cleaning up our act, just reducing our ecological impact. Read more about it and take the pledge at www.cleanconcert.org
more to come,

Today is the day
Things That Fly, our third album and greatest recorded accomplishment is out today. It's been called "amazing" and "revolutionary," but you should hear for yourself. It's available many places, just look around. Jambase, Amazon, your local independent... it's everywhere. Get it and get high, Things That Fly.
